There have been rumors since the first iPhone launched that there was going to be an iPhone nano by christmas. Well, Christmas 2007 passed no iPhone nano. So what are you to do when you have a perfectly good rumor sitting on the shelf? Why, reheat it for the next year that’s what.
I personally don’t buy into it. The two main reasons being A) try to put a any of the iPod nano models to your ear. It’s really comfortable isn’t it? I didn’t think so. Yes, the iPhone nano probably wouldn’t look like an iPod nano but my point is still valid especially since everybody grips about the standard size iPhones being uncomfortable anything smaller and people would have a bitch fit. B) Apple just spent God only knows how much money on developing the damn thing, do you think they are going to undermine that with a smaller model that would take God only knows how much more money to develop? What about that whole Software Development Kit thing? Point B also applies to the rumors of a iPhone with a physical keyboard. Does this make any business sense? No.
I have been wrong many times before but with the new lower price of the semi-newly redesigned iPhone I don’t expect an iPhone nano anytime soon, or ever.
